Biberg 🇦🇹 | Sledging with stunning mountain views

This hike has it all: a magical snow-covered landscape, stunning mountain views, cozy alpine huts, and an unforgettable toboggan ride back down.

Your journey begins at the parking area near Bockareit Stub’n, located at the base of the Biberg toboggan run. From the end of the parking lot, follow the path toward Hinterburghof, keeping left to join the forest road leading to the Huggenberg Hof. This section takes about an hour and offers the first opportunity to rent a toboggan or grab a snack. For a more adventurous start, take the marked forest trail instead of the road.

From Huggenberg, continue along the toboggan track for about another hour to reach the Berggasthof Biberg. This is your final stop before the big ride! Here, you’ll find another rental station (7 EUR) and a cozy spot to fuel up before the descent.

Now for the highlight: the toboggan ride back to the valley. Brace yourself—it’s the wildest, most exhilarating run we’ve ever experienced! Six kilometers of twists, turns, and speedy straights make for pure adrenaline-fueled fun.
